Wandering Lipsticks (Stan Payne). The wandering Lipsticks are an updated version of a Brema effect. Basically, the performer plays a game of 3-card Monte using three brass tubes, one of which contains a brass weight. No matter how hard the spectator tries he can not win at this game.

Even when only one tube is used; the tube is shown to contain the rattle, yet when the spectator picks it up and shakes it, the rattle is gone and is found in one of the other tubes!

Done with beautiful brass “lipstick tubes.” A chance for the spectator to win. And, how can they lose? One of the tubes rattles. The other two don’t. All they have to do is keep their eyes on the tube with the rattle. Seems easy enough. The odds are excellent — one in three! Yet no matter how fair you play, no matter how easy you make it for them, they can never find the tube that rattles! They lose every time! Unless of course, you decide to let them win! The three tubes are hand crafted of solid brass. The top unscrews to allow the spectator to see the rattle inserted. Self contained; mechanical; really easy to do. A very entertaining piece of close-up magic. Great to carry in your pocket! A very classy prop.
