Applause Meter & Lie Detector Suitcase (5717-L5)

A fantastic warming-up for your act. If you want to warm up your audience right away, this gadget is the perfect way to do it! And this version is not only an applause meter but also a lie detector.

The possibilities are endless, but we will give you a possible effect description for each of the two options:

Applause meter:

You bought a new meter, it will tell you how well and loudly your audience can applaud. You propose to test this. You take a microphone, connect it to the case and take the case in one hand and the microphone in the other. You ask the audience to applaud and this will go quietly and the meter will go to maybe 2 of 3. You ask that this has to be louder and again ask for applause, this time the meter will go to 5 of 6. Well, come on, one more time and now a big round of applause, a lot of cheering and stamping your feet as long as you can! The meter goes up, and up, and oh dear the meter goes off and a red warning light is on but it’s too late…the case explodes (falls open) and the complete electronics seem lost and dangling from the device, a light starts to flash and as that is not enough, a flame with smoke plume comes out of the suitcase … that was your new applause meter …..

Lie detector

On the back of the applause meter are 2 lights (red and green) and the texts YES and NO. You can have these both light up completely under your command, so that guarantees a lot of possible hilarity if you come up with a nice story and the right questions. In addition to the red and green light, each also has a different tone. You can use this option separately or together with the applause meter. You can also choose to let the lie detector drop open with the effects as a finale.

We have made a short video to show you the basic features, the whole is beautiful and solidly made in Europe and of the very best quality. Everything works on a 9 volt battery (included) and for the flashpot you need flash cotton or paper (flash paper pad is sufficient). You have to order these separately.

You will receive the wooden case complete with the microphone and online video instructions. The wooden case measures (including all protruding parts, buttons, etc) approx. 32x32x14cm.
