A performer walks out on stage, reaches into the air, and a solid gleaming silver cane magically appears in his hand. The Appearing Cane, originally created by Russ Walsh, has become a classic of magic. There are very few magicians who have not used this at some time or the other in their acts.

The Appearing Cane is in fact a high quality steel spring coil attached to a ferrule and locking arrangement. When released, it opens out into the shape of a cane over three feet in length. In the closed condition, it measures only four inches in length and is easily concealed in your hand.
